All staff members have undergone mandatory training required by law. We ensure ongoing training in additional care areas and regular refresher courses.
Training & Qualifications
Initial Training:
- New employees complete their National Care Certificate within 2-3 weeks of employment
- Shadow experienced staff before independent visits
- Work only as support until fully qualified
Ongoing Development:
- All carers work toward SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Refresher training provided when required
- Additional specialist training responsive to individual needs
- A list of current staff and qualifications available on request from the office
