All staff members have undergone mandatory training required by law. We ensure ongoing training in additional care areas and regular refresher courses.

Training & Qualifications

Initial Training:

  • New employees complete their National Care Certificate within 2-3 weeks of employment
  • Shadow experienced staff before independent visits
  • Work only as support until fully qualified

Ongoing Development:

  • All carers work toward SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Refresher training provided when required
  • Additional specialist training responsive to individual needs
  • A list of current staff and qualifications available on request from the office
